I build around your existing furniture, your current interests, and the pieces you already love, not a cookie-cutter template or someone else's idea of your style. New purchases come in only where a space genuinely needs them. To me, a personal home is a collected one: things you've held onto, things you're into right now, sitting together in a way that actually makes sense. Antiques, thrifted finds, and family heirlooms all have a place in that story. They're often the pieces with the most to say. I'd rather sit at your kitchen table and talk it through than hand you a generic mood board.
I'm a retired clinical social worker, a wife, and a mother of two busy young adults. I am two years away from having an empty nest.
